Description
The Mitsubishi 4B12 engine is a 2.4L, inline 4-cylinder DOHC engine with MIVEC variable valve timing, featuring a timing chain, 10.5:1 compression ratio, and power output around 165–170 hp. Developed as part of a global engine alliance and first appearing in 2006, it was used in vehicles like the Lancer and Outlander.
