2. Orders & Acceptance
- All orders are subject to availability and acceptance by Fit Engines.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including stock shortages or pricing errors.
- Orders are confirmed once EFT payment is received and verified.
3. Payment Terms
- Fit Engines accepts Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) only.
- Full payment must be received before dispatch of any product.
- Proof of payment must be emailed to info@fitengines.co.za.
- Prices are VAT-inclusive and may change without notice, but your confirmed order price is locked in after payment verification.
4. Shipping & Delivery
- We offer nationwide shipping across South Africa.
- Delivery times:
- Major cities: 2–4 business days
- Outlying areas: 3–7 business days
- Special orders or imports: 7–14 business days
- Shipping fees are calculated based on size, weight, and location unless otherwise specified.
- Customers may choose pick-up by appointment as an alternative.
- Fit Engines is responsible for your order until it is handed over to the courier.
5. Refund & Return Policy
- Returns must be requested within 7 days of delivery for products that are unused and in original condition.
- Refunds are processed via the original EFT payment method and are subject to inspection and approval.
- Certain items, such as engines or gearboxes once installed, cannot be returned unless covered under warranty.
- Damaged or incorrect products must be reported within 48 hours of delivery.
- Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to Fit Engines’ error.
6. Warranty Policy
- All products come with a limited warranty covering manufacturing or material defects.
- Warranty periods vary depending on product type (new, used, or reconditioned).
- To claim warranty, customers must provide a purchase invoice and proof of installation by a qualified mechanic.
- Warranty does not cover damage from misuse, improper installation, accidents, or normal wear and tear.
- Fit Engines’ liability under warranty is limited to repair, replacement, or refund of the defective product.
7. Privacy Policy
- Fit Engines collects personal information only to process orders, provide support, and improve services.
- Information collected may include name, contact details, vehicle information, and payment details.
- We do not sell or rent your personal information.
- Personal data is stored securely and retained only as long as necessary for service delivery or legal compliance.

8. Customer Responsibilities
- Ensure the correct part is purchased for your vehicle.
- Confirm payment details before initiating EFT.
- Follow proper maintenance and installation procedures for products.
- Retain proof of purchase and installation documentation for warranty or return claims.
9. Limitation of Liability
- Fit Engines is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including labour, vehicle downtime, or transport costs.
- Liability is strictly limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of defective products.
- Fit Engines is not responsible for damages arising from improper installation, misuse, or continued operation after detecting a problem.
10. Intellectual Property
- All content on the Fit Engines website, including text, images, logos, and branding, is owned by Fit Engines or used under license.
- Unauthorized reproduction, copying, or distribution of content is prohibited.
11. Governing Law
- These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
- Any disputes will be subject to the courts of South Africa.
12. Amendments
- Fit Engines reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
- The updated terms will be published on our website and take effect immediately upon posting.
